If you had an account with Ulster Bank and we do not have your up-to-date contact details, we may have been unable to send you a cheque after your account was closed.

If you have been receiving closure correspondance from Ulster Bank, you do not need to take any action. If you have not heard from us and your account has been closed, you can find out how to reclaim your balance in the FAQs below.

Looking for a bank statement of a closed account?

You can order a copy statement or a transaction history list on your personal account by calling our Customer Support Team on 0818 210 260 (00353 1804 7475 if calling from abroad). 

Please note the following:

  • A closing account statement will automatically be generated and sent to your home address by post Or if registered via email within 7-10 working days after you close your account. If you have only recently closed your account you do not need to take any further action
  • The copy statement or transaction history list will be sent to the address we hold on record for you. If you need to check that we have the correct mailing address, please contact our Customer Support Team on 0818 210 260 to discuss.
  • There is no fee to request a copy statement or transaction history list after you close an account
  • The maximum period you can order a copy statement or transaction history list is 7 years. If you require a copy statement beyond this date range please contact our Customer Support Team on 0818 210 260 and have the following information to hand;
    • Account Number and Sort Code
    • Account type
    • Customer Name(s) on account
    • Statement Dates required
    • Recorded Address on Bank account
